Ben Franklin's Vision of an Ethical Society

Ben Franklin, one of the Founders of our nation, was a multi-faceted person. Many of his practical insights capture the spirit of America. Among those insights was the need for a principle of benevolence and concern for the good of all people in the conduct of the affairs of the nation. To that end, he conceived of forming societies of ethical reform.
